Falcons QB Kirk Cousins tallied 306 yards in Sunday's loss to the Saints, his second-largest yardage total of the season. But it's tough to say he had a good game. Cousins' 60.5% completion rate was his second-lowest of the season. He accompanied that with 0 TDs, 1 INT, and 2 fumbles -- though Atlanta recovered both of them.
Cousins reminded us of his limitations by ending the game with a checkdown short of the sticks to WR Ray-Ray McCloud on 4th-and-4 to run out the clock.
Cousins' down production at least aligned with the matchup numbers. New Orleans entered the week as the seventh-toughest matchup for QB scoring by our adjusted fantasy points allowed.
Next week brings a Denver defense that ranks sixth-toughest, which has Cousins outside the top 12 of our Week 11 QB rankings.
