Ravens S Kyle Hamilton left Thursday night's game in the first half with a right ankle injury and did not return. The team initially deemed him questionable but ruled Hamilton out before the end of the game. He was wearing a boot on the sideline in the second half, but HC John Harbaugh downplayed the severity after the game.
Harbaugh, on Thursday night: "It's not a serious ankle [injury]. I don't know how long it will be, but it's an ankle sprain."
The Ravens obviously get a little extra time ahead of their Week 11 visit to Pittsburgh. We'll see about Hamilton's status as the practice week gets going for that one.
S Eddie Jackson jumped in for some fill-in duty but played just 16 snaps after being a healthy scratch in Week 9. So he likely wouldn't see starter duty if Hamilton misses further time.
DB Ardarius Washington has officially started the past three games, but he set season highs in total snaps (59) and snap share (72%) with Hamilton going down. That included a larger-than-usual share of his snaps spent at deep safety, according to Pro Football Focus.
Washington looks like he'd take over Hamilton's role if the star isn't ready for Week 11.
