Bengals WR Ja'Marr Chase obliterated the Ravens for 11 catches, 264 yards, and three TDs on Thursday night. The 55.4 PPR points were the 20th most scored by any player in a game in NFL history. They're the eighth most ever by a WR. A Baltimore secondary that's struggled all season and lost S Kyle Hamilton to an ankle injury in this one simply had no answer for Chase. He scored 67- and 70-yard TDs in the second half. And he got the hat trick with a leaping grab for a five-yard TD with less than a minute to go to bring the Bengals within a point. (They failed to convert the 2-point conversion.) Chase was targeted on 17 of QB Joe Burrow's 56 pass attempts -- good for a 30.4%. target share.
Wanna hear something crazier than Chase's Week 10 performance? It wasn't even the biggest fantasy outing of his career. He scored 55.6 PPR points in a 2022 game vs. the Chiefs.
There have been 13 50-point fantasy performances since 2015. Chase owns three of them.
There's not much else to say here. Chase figures to lose some target share whenever WR Tee Higgins makes it back from his quad injury. But he'll remain a huge part of this pass-heavy Bengals offense.
Enjoy having Chase for the rest of the season! Maybe he'll give you another 50-pointer.
