Giants TE Theo Johnson tallied 3 receptions for 51 yards among 6 targets in Sunday's loss to the Commanders. Most of his production came on a 35-yard catch-and-run TD late in the fourth quarter that marked Johnson's first NFL score.
Johnson ranked second on the team in targets and receiving yards. There was nothing different about his role, though. The rookie has seen strong playing time all year.
This marked the first time all year that Johnson reached 50 receiving yards.
It was the fourth time he caught at least three passes, all of which have come within the past five games.
Johnson looks interesting for the long term (think dynasty) but remains a low-level redraft option.
