Cowboys WR CeeDee Lamb delivered his biggest fantasy line so far this season in Sunday night's loss to the 49ers. He racked up 13 catches for 146 yards and 2 TDs on 17 targets. That accounted for a whopping 44.7% of Dak Prescott's pass attempts for the game and more than doubled his nearest teammate (Jake Ferguson, 8 targets).
Lamb entered Dallas' Week 7 bye ranked just 17th among WRs in PPR points per game and 28th in target share. He had 2 TDs and no 100-yard games through the first six weeks.
As we highlighted in our Week 7 Trade Targets article, though, that proved eerily similar to last season.
Lamb entered the 2023 Week 7 bye ranked just 13th in points and 30th in target share. But he jumped from 7.0 targets per game pre-bye then to 12.6 the rest of the way.
This season's version now has 31 targets over just the past two games, matching his total for the previous four contests.
San Francisco marked arguably the biggest remaining hurdle on the schedule for Lamb, who appears set up for a huge fantasy impact the rest of the way.
It certainly won't hurt Lamb's Week 9 target share that WR Brandin Cooks has one more game to go before he's eligible to return from IR.
