Seahawks WR DK Metcalf suffered a knee injury late in the game against the Falcons yesterday and was carted off the field. Despite being carted off, his knee injury is not considered serious. More testing will be done today to understand the full extent.
Ian Rappoport of NFL.com: “DK Metcalf for the Seattle Seahawks banged his knee on the last catch. This is not considered major despite him being carted off. Coach Mike McDonald said it doesn’t look too bad”
Metcalf had an amazing catch on the sideline toward the end of the Falcons game yesterday and was hit in the knee on the way down. He was carted off the field as a precaution, but it doesn't appear that he will miss much, if any, time with the injury.
Metcalf had a solid day against the Falcons defense including a 35-yard TD.
With the Seahawks high passing output, Metcalf is a crucial part of the offensive ecosystem that the Seahawks have in place.
We will update you on any new updates about Metcalf's knee injury and potential time missed.
