Commanders RB Brian Robinson Jr. rushed 12 times for 71 yards and 1 score in Sunday's blowout win over Carolina. Robinson (knee) entered the weekend as questionable on the injury report; he was a limited practice participant Wednesday-Friday.
Jayden Daniels missed most of the game with a rib injury. But that didn’t stop Washington from scoring 40 points against a weak Carolina defense. Because of the blowout, Robinson didn’t touch the ball in the fourth quarter.
Still, he tallied 10+ fantasy points for the eighth consecutive game. And by all accounts, he dodged an injury setback.
Meanwhile, Austin Ekeler notched only 17 yards on 4 carries and 3 yards on 2 receptions. Chalk it up to poor game script for the excellent receiving back. He remains a fine hold in most fantasy formats.
We’ll see about the status of Daniels, who’s a candidate to miss Week 8 vs. Chicago with a rib injury. Even if Marcus Mariota starts, Robinson will remain a worthy fantasy starter. Ekeler's best kept on your bench for that one.
