Packers WR Dontayvion Wicks managed to play through the shoulder issue that rendered him questionable for Sunday's win over the Texans. He snagged a 30-yard TD among 3 receptions for 48 yards. Wicks tied for second on the team in receiving yards and targets (6) but ranked just fourth among WRs in snaps and routes.
Wicks ran a route on just 46% of QB Jordan Love's dropbacks. WR Chrisitian Watson edged him (19 routes to 17, 51.4%) and both trailed well behind ...
This marked the first time since Week 3 that Watson and Wicks made it through a game together, and the first time since Week 1 that they did so with QB Jordan Love also in the game.
Week 3 found them running closer with Reed in playing time, but also checking in third and fourth, respectively.
That level of usage will make it tough to trust either Wicks or Watson in fantasy lineups in most leagues.
Pass-friendly matchups lie ahead, at least -- Jacksonville and Detroit -- before a Week 10 bye.
