WR Kalif Raymond emerged as the surprise target leader in the Lions' beatdown of Dallas in Week 6. His 6 targets edged RB Jahmyr Gibbs by one and put Raymond two ahead of any other teammate. He caught four of them for 73 yards, doubling his reception total for the season.
Raymond's 6 targets also more than doubled his season target count (now 11).
His final target and catch (for 19 yards) Sunday came from backup QB Hendon Hooker. Even with that post-starters work, though, Raymond finished just fourth among Lions WRs in snaps and pass routes.
Jameson Williams and Amon-Ra St. Brown led, of course, with Tim Patrick running third.
Raymond's in his fourth season with the Lions and pops up for such a game here and there. But his receptions per game have dropped each of the past three years, including this one (down to 1.6 through five games).
He's not a fantasy factor.
