Texans RB Joe Mixon (ankle) did not practice on Wednesday. That's a disappointing start to the week after he put in a limited practice last Friday. Perhaps Houston is just giving him some early-week rest, but Mixon's availability for Sunday's game vs. the Bills remains uncertain. RB Dameon Pierce (hamstring) also missed Wednesday's practice.
