Bears RB D'Andre Swift rushed 16 times for 93 yards and 1 score in Sunday's win over the Rams. The breakout game included team-highs in targets (7), catches (7) and receiving yards (72).
We expected to see more of Roschon Johnson, but Swift simply played too well. Johnson scored a one-yard TD but rushed only 7 times and didn’t garner a target.
Swift showed nice patience and burst on a 36-yard TD run in the fourth quarter. Overall, he looked much different than the runner who averaged fewer than 2.0 YPC entering today.
A favorable matchup vs. the Rams helped. But note that Swift draws another plus matchup next week vs. Carolina
