Ahead of Sunday’s game, Titans HC Brian Callahan said he wanted a closer workload split between RBs Tony Pollard and Tyjae Spears. But with Spears leaving Sunday’s game with a shoulder injury, Pollard again finished as the clear lead back with 21 touches.

2024 Fantasy Football Impact

Pollard wasn’t very efficient against a Jets run D that’s better than their Week 1 showing. The former Cowboy averaged 3.6 yards per carry with a long of 15.

On the bright side: Pollard added tallied a team-high 5 catches for 40 yards. His target share (21.4%) matched Calvin Ridley's.

Now, per Fantasy Points' data, Pollard ranks near the top of the league in weighted opportunity per game (20.6). We’ll see if Spears sits out a Week 3 matchup with Green Bay, but either way, Pollard's locked in as an RB2.
