Patriots TE Hunter Henry had a breakout performance with a stat line of eight catches on 12 targets for 109 yards. Henry was the focal point of the Patriots’ receiving game more than doubling the targets of any other Patriots pass catcher. Though he didn’t score a TD, it was a great fantasy performance.
You can’t expect Henry to do this every week, but the Patriots will utilize the TE in plus match-ups, like they had against the Seahawks. He will be inconsistent, but with the current TE landscape, these type of targets are enough to produce some TE1 games.
Henry could follow-up with a solid game against the Jets next week who gave up a solid Week 1 game to 49ers TE George Kittle.
After that, Henry has the 49ers who have not given up a TE1 week yet this season.
