Buccaneers CB Zyon McCollum has cleared the concussion protocol and will play today against the Lions, ESPN's Jenna Laine reports.
An already-tattered Bucs secondary will at least get this starting CB back from his Week 1 injury. Don't be surprised if the Lions still test the pass defense, though.
Tampa Bay will miss its top DB, Antoine Winfield Jr., along with DT Calijah Kancey, a key pass rusher.
Of course, the Lions loves to run the ball, as they reminded us by passing at the sixth-lowest rate vs. expectation in Week 1. They hit today's matchup as 7.5-point favorites. Playing from ahead generally increases a team's rushing rate.
Ultimately, McCollum's not a strong fantasy play but could make sense in the CB slot for some deep IDP leagues. He sits outside the top 70 DBs in our Week 2 rankings.

McCollum's return doesn't meaningfully change the fantasy outlook for any Detroit pass-catchers.
