Dolphins RBs De'Von Achane (ankle) and Raheem Mostert (chest) did not practice on Tuesday. We noticed both guys temporarily exit the Week 1 win over Jacksonville, but they both returned and finished out the game.
The short turnaround to Thursday night's game vs. the Bills is not doing Achane or Mostert any favors. We're still tentatively projecting them to play in that one but will get another update on their statuses tomorrow.
If one or either guy is out, we'd very likely see RB Jaylen Wright make his NFL debut. The rookie was a healthy scratch for Week 1 but remains a high-upside stash for exactly this reason. Miami also has RB Jeff Wilson, who'd see an increased role if Achane and/or Mostert miss the Bills game.
Wright should be rostered in all fantasy leagues of 12+ teams and most 10-team leagues. Wilson might be worth stashing in 12-teamers while we wait to see on Achane and Mostert's availability for Week 2.
Caleb Williams keeps getting help in Chicago. But another QB might have come out of the draft as a sleeper. And we've got five high-ceiling RBs to target LATE in your drafts.
