Ricky Pearsall Headshot

The 49ers announced that WR Ricky Pearsall has been released from the hospital on Sunday, a day after being shot in the chest in an attempted robbery. Pearsall's mother posted on social media that the bullet did not hit any of his vital organs before exiting out his back.

2024 Fantasy Football Impact

It's all good news. Pearsall is on the road to recovery and should be able to continue his football career. It remains to be seen when he'll be able to get back on the field.

The rookie is unlikely to make a fantasy impact any time soon. Jauan Jennings will open the season as San Francisco's No. 3 WR.
