Ricky Pearsall Shot, In Stable Condition

Ricky Pearsall Headshot

49ers WR Ricky Pearsall was shot in an attempted robbery at Union Square in San Francisco today, NBC Bay Area's Gia Vang reports. Pearsall is reportedly in stable condition, and the suspect is in custody.

2024 Fantasy Football Impact

It sounds like Pearsall avoided any life-threatening injury, which is obviously the most important thing here.

Beyond that, we'll need to wait for further updates on the extent of his injuries and when he might be able to get back on the football field. The rookie missed almost all of August with a shoulder injury and had just returned to practice this past week. Even before this incident, he was not going to make an early-season fantasy impact.

Pearsall is only worth stashing in deep redraft leagues.
