Browns RB D'Onta Foreman was cut from the team at the 53-man roster cutdown. This leaves the Browns with only two RBs on their 53-man roster in Jerome Ford and Pierre Strong. Foreman is a candidate to sign back with the team after additional roster moves.
Foreman was a popular pick with RB Nick Chubb starting the year on the PUP list and Ford as the only viable runner in the backfield.
On the Bears last season, Foreman rushed for 425 yards and four TDs and showed that he may be getting his explosion back after his Achilles injury.
With the structure of setting the 53-man roster, Foreman does have a shot on being signed back to the Browns. They are unlikely to keep only two RBs on the roster with Ford and Strong, so this may not spell doom for fantasy owners with Foreman on their roster.
This also may be a positive sign that Chubb could be ready after the four games he has to sit out on the PUP list.
We will keep an eye on his landing spot and if Foreman can be fantasy relevant this season.
Stay tuned for more updated on the Browns and Foreman.
