Last year, Detroit ranked 3rd in plays per game, 3rd in yards, and 5th in points. That infrastructure helped support 86 catches, 889 yards, and 10 TDs for LaPorta. He drew a near 21% target share.

LaPorta played all 17 regular season games in 2023. He added two postseason contests, where he totaled 18 catches.
His injury history includes a hyperextended left knee and a bone bruise from last January. In college, LaPorta suffered a torn meniscus in his right knee (November, 2022).
