ESPN's Jeremy Fowler writes that the Saints are "leaning into the Taysom Hill experience." Hill has been practicing at five different positions in new OC Klint Kubiak's offense: QB, RB, FB, WR, and TE.
More from Fowler on the Saints' plans for Hill this season: "They'd like to get him some traditional tailback/fullback work, for example (he typically takes direct snaps as a runner). They know he can line up wide and believe there could be untapped potential there. But the coaches are creating a vision for him and believe he has more to give. New Orleans still values the unpredictability his versatility lends, and the scheme change shouldn't alter that much. In fact, it might enhance it."
We heard similar buzz about Hill's role back in the spring. OC Klint Kubiak spent last season in San Francisco under Kyle Shanahan, which can't hurt his creativity in getting Hill the ball. And this Saints offense could certainly use a playmaker like Hill.
Hill's positional eligibility depends on the site you play on. And his fantasy value shifts drastically by scoring system. He sits:
Hill is a fun pick in leagues where he can be used in the TE spot -- particularly in non- or half-PPR scoring.
