Browns WR Elijah Moore is in the concussion protocol, HC Kevin Stefanski said Sunday. Moore last practiced on Friday.
Stefanski was reportedly cryptic about Moore's status, admitting he's in the protocol but refusing to say he has a concussion.
"I'm not going to go into all the details of it, but as you know, when you get in that protocol, there's certain things you have to pass to get out of it," Stefanski said.
The head injury is more worrisome for Moore after he suffered a concussion last December that had him hospitalized for a night. He was also concussed back in September 2021.
We'll see when Moore is able to clear protocol, but it wouldn't be surprising if he was out for a while considering his history.
Moore is coming off an underwhelming debut season in Cleveland, finishing 52nd among WRs in PPR points per game. He faces increased target competition this year with the arrival of WR Jerry Jeudy.
