Browns RB D'Onta Foreman is back with the team, a day after being flown to a hospital and evaluated for neck and back injuries. Scans on Foreman came back clean, according to insider Mary Kay Cabot.
"I’ll be back better than ever in due time," Foreman said in a social media post.
There's no timetable for Foreman's return to the field -- and his social media posts suggests it might not be imminent. But this is still good news overall after what looked like a potentially serious injury.
We haven't moved Foreman in the RB rankings yet. If he remains sidelined into mid-August, it'll be time to bump him down. Stay tuned.
With Foreman, RB Nick Chubb (knee), and RB Nyheim Hines (knee) sidelined, the Browns are down to RBs Jerome Ford, Pierre Strong, and John Kelly. Ford is a strong bet to open the season as the lead back.
