49ers WR Ricky Pearsall is officially off of the Active/NFI list. He appears recovered from his hamstring injury and is participating in training camp.
Pearsall, the first-round selection for the 49ers, was on the Non-Football Injury list due a hamstring issue he had coming into camp.
After a few days of working on the sidelines, Pearsall is back with no limitations.
Pearsall will need all the reps he can backing up WR Brandon Aiyuk and Deebo Samuel.
It is unlikely that Pearsall will have much immediate fantasy value on a loaded depth chart, but it is better for the 49ers to have him on the field seeing what he can do.
He has even been a fan favorite with fans chanting "Ricky! Ricky!" at him as he came onto the field.
Pearsall getting onto the field as early as possible is good for his long-term fantasy outlook.
Though he is unlikely to make an impact this season due to Aiyuk and Samuel both being on the roster, Pearsall is a future WR starter for the 49ers.
If he can turn heads in camp and climb the depth chart, Pearsall could be an injury away from having fantasy value.
Good size. Plus speed. Early breakout. Quinshon Judkins looks like an elite fantasy prospect. But could these sneaky issues actually turn him into a bust?
