Jerry Jones Expects Dak Prescott to Stick Around

Here’s what Jones added in a Thursday press conference:

“It’s pretty clear, I think. I want to say if it hasn’t been clear — of how much we appreciate what Dak Prescott has meant to this team in a positive way. The players do play better when he’s out there. He does make his teammates play at a higher level there’s no question about it. So I’m right there in line with his best fan.”

Despite the uncertain future, Prescott showed up to training camp in a jovial mood.

“I’m just here so I don’t get fined,” he told reporters.

2024 Fantasy Football Impact

Prescott hit his ceiling as the QB3 in 2023. That season turned up career highs in completions and completion rate. He nearly set career highs in passing TDs (36) and TD rate (6.1%).

The veteran projects best as a mid-range QB1 this fall -- particularly with Dallas still looking thin at pass catcher. He's fairly priced with a fantasy football ADPof QB9.

Dynasty Impact

Dak's dynasty ranking sits just outside QB1 range. Part of that is his age; part his uncertain future with Dallas.

He's ultimately not someone we'd look to aggressively target or deal, regardless of format.
