Bills TE Dalton Kincaid was excellent in his first day of camp working with Josh Allen, but TE Dawson Knox took all of his reps with Allen as well.
Here's ace beat writer Joe Buscaglia of The Athletic: "Both Kincaid and Knox worked heavily with Allen throughout the first practice. As far as I could see, neither player worked in with backup quarterback Mitchell Trubisky. And as we pointed out with the receivers, reps with Allen in a practice setting are highly intentional."
Numerous beat reporters noted how good Kincaid looked on his first day of practice with Josh Allen, but Knox taking all of his reps with the first team is a concern.
As Buscaglia notes in his article for The Athletic, Kincaid's role went back to early season levels after Knox returned from injured reserve last year.
Kincaid's ADP continues to rise due to the perception that he could lead the Bills in targets with their lack of high-end WRs.
This could still be the case, but Knox may continue to be a thorn in the side of fantasy managers with Kincaid on their squad.
Over their last six games, playoffs included, Kincaid had just a 53.6 percent snap share. Knox even outsnapped him in two of those games.
If the Bills keep the TEs in those same roles, expectations may need to be tempered for Kincaid. Currently, he's coming off the board as the TE5 in Underdog drafts.
