Cincinnati Bengals Fantasy Football News | Shark Bites

Shark Bites are the latest fantasy football news & NFL updates. Draft Sharks has been in business since 1999. And when we started, redraft was the dominant form of fantasy football. Check out what we've learned about this most basic form of fantasy football along the way.

Bengals RB Zack Moss (foot) did not practice on Wednesday. He appeared to get banged up late in last week's loss to the Ravens, and his status for Sunday night's game vs. the Giants is now uncertain. Moss' absence would turn RB Chase Brown into a must-start. We'll see if Moss gets back on the field tomorrow.

The Bengals fear CB Dax Hill tore his right ACL in the first quarter of Sunday's loss to the Ravens, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Assuming that's confirmed by testing, it would obviously end Hill's season.

Bengals QB Joe Burrow went off completing 30 of 39 passes for 391 yards with five TDs and one INT.. Not be outdone, Ravens QB Lamar Jackson also had a huge game going 26 of 42 for 348 yards and 4 TDs passing while adding 55 yards on the ground.

Bengals WRs Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins had an absolute monster game in the teams OT loss against the Baltimore Ravens. Chase caught 10 passes on 12 targets for 193 yards and two TDs. Higgins had nine catches on 14 targets for 83 yards and two TDs himself.

Bengals CB Mike Hilton (knee) is inactive for today's game against the Ravens. Facing a Cincinnati defense without its lead slot corner can only help TEs Mark Andrews and Isaiah Likely, but we'll see if they get the targets.

Bengals WR Tee Higgins had ten targets though he only hauled in six for 60 yards. That led the team with WR Ja’Marr Chase having six targets and catching three for 85 yards and a TD.

Bengals WR Tee Higgins had ten targets though he only hauled in six for 60 yards. That led the team with WR Ja’Marr Chase having six targets and catching three for 85 yards and a TD.

Bengals RB Chase Brown and Zack Moss both had 15 carries in the game. Brown went for 80 yards and two TDs while hauling in two catches for 12 yards. Moss had 51 yards rushing but caught four passes for 27 yards and a TD.

Bengals QB Joe Burrow was 29 of 38 for 324 yards and three TDs in the loss to the Commanders while targeting WR Ja'Marr Chase seven times. Chase had six catches for 119 yards and two TDs. Tee Higgins was targeted six times, including a near TD grab, but only ended with three catches for 39 yards.

Bengals WR Tee Higgins (hamstring) is not listed on the final Week 3 injury report. After limited practices on Thursday and Friday, he was a full participant on Saturday. It all suggests that he's ready for a full workload in Monday night's plus matchup against the Commanders. Higgins lands inside the top-25 WR in our Week 3 Rankings.

Bengals WR Tee Higgins said after Friday's practice that he's back to 100% and expects to play his usual role vs. the Commanders on Monday night. "I feel great," he said. "Obviously, unfortunate with the injury, sat out the first two weeks but finally ready to get my feet wet this season and ready to go." We'll see how Higgins is listed on the final injury report later today. Assuming he suits up, he'll be a risk/reward fantasy play coming off a multi-week hamstring injury for a juicy matchup against one of the league's worst pass defenses.

Bengals WR Tee Higgins (hamstring) put in a limited practice on Thursday. It was his first practice since hurting his hamstring exactly two weeks ago. Higgins seemingly has a shot to play vs. the Commanders on Monday night, but we'll keep you updated on his progress over the next few days. The timing of that game could make Higgins a tricky situation for fantasy owners.

Bengals HC Zac Taylor said Monday that WR Tee Higgins is trending in the right direction in his recovery from his hamstring injury, per ESPN's Ben Baby. Taylor also noted that the extra day ahead of next Monday night's game vs. the Commanders will help Higgins' chances of playing in that one. We'll keep you updated on his progress throughout the week. It'd certainly be nice if Higgins was healthy for this matchup against one of the league's worst pass defenses.

Bengals QB Joe Burrow entered Sunday’s game without WR Tee Higgins (hamstring). But despite a tough matchup at Kansas City, the 27-year-old managed 258 yards, 2 TDs, and 0 INTs.

Bengals WR Tee Higgins (hamstring) is inactive for today’s game vs. the Chiefs. He remained sidelined in practice all week and is certainly not a lock to be back for Week 3. WR Andrei Iosivas should again be a full-time player today after running a route on 100% of pass plays in the opener. He’s on the WR4 radar.

Bengals WR Tee Higgins (hamstring) is listed as doubtful for Sunday’s game vs. the Chiefs after missing practice all week. He’s not going to play. That should again leave WR Andrei Iosivas in a full-time role. He ran a route on 100% of pass plays in the opener, finishing with three catches on six targets (21% share) for 26 yards. That level of usage has him on the WR4 radar for Week 2.

Bengals WR Tee Higgins was not practicing on Wednesday due to his hamstring injury. Higgins missed Week 1, and his hamstring issue appears to be stopping him from practicing today. This is a poor start for Higgins, and he probably misses Week 2.

Bengals WR Ja'Marr Chase caught a solid six passes for 62 yards in Sunday's loss to the Patriots. He snagged all six of his targets, tying WR Andrei Iosivas for the team target lead amid a poor Cincinnati offensive performance. Chase's yardage more than doubled Iosivas' 26 receiving yards. No other Bengal exceeded 18 yards.

RB Zack Moss led the Bengals in carries, rushing yards, and backfield targets in Sunday's loss to the Patriots. His 9 carries tripled Chase Brown's total, accounting for 75% of the team's RB rushes in a quiet offensive performance. Moss ran well on that light work, with his 44 yards coming out to 4.9 per rush. Brown tallied just 11 yards on his three rushes. Brown caught all three of his targets for 12 yards, while Moss tallied 2 receptions for 17 yards on 4 targets. He also ran for the team's lone TD from 5 yards out in the third quarter.

Bengals WR Tee Higgins (hamstring) is inactive for today’s game vs. the Patriots. He was added to the injury report on Thursday and then did not practice on Friday. We’ll see if Higgins can make it back for Week 2. We’re projecting WR Trenton Irwin – not WR Jermaine Burton – to replace most of Higgins’ outside snaps. WR Andrei Iosivas and TE Mike Gesicki could also see target boosts.
