Philadelphia Eagles Fantasy Football News | Shark Bites

Shark Bites are the latest fantasy football news & NFL updates. Draft Sharks has been in business since 1999. And when we started, redraft was the dominant form of fantasy football. Check out what we've learned about this most basic form of fantasy football along the way.

49ers RB Ty Davis-Price (ankle) is not listed on the final injury report and will be available for Sunday’s game vs. the Falcons. Assuming the rookie is active, he figures to be 3rd on the depth chart behind RBs Jeff Wilson and Tevin Coleman.

Giants RB Saquon Barkley said Thursday that his injured shoulder "feels pretty good" and that he doesn't expect to be limited in Sunday's game vs. the Packers. “I’ve just been rehabbing it, being smart, but I’m excited for us to get a chance to go against a really good football team," Barkley added. He remains a must-start in Week 6 fantasy lineups.

Giants RB Saquon Barkley (shoulder) remained limited in Thursday's practice. He's fully expected to play vs. the Ravens this weekend, but we'll get another update on his status tomorrow.

Eagles K Jake Elliott (ankle) was limited in Wednesday's practice. That gives him a shot to return for Sunday night's game vs. the Cowboys. We'll see what Elliott does over the next couple of days.

Bucs WR Julio Jones (knee) did not practice on Wednesday. The 33-year-old's body just can't hold up at this point. Jones is not a must-hold in shallower fantasy leagues.

49ers RB Ty Davis-Price (ankle) put in a full practice on Wednesday. It looks like he's ready to return from his Week 2 high-ankle sprain. The rookie figures to slot in 3rd on the depth chart for now, behind RBs Jeff Wilson and Tevin Coleman.

Commanders WR Jahan Dotson (hamstring) has been ruled out for Thursday night's game vs. the Bears, as expected. We'll see if the rookie can make it back for Week 7. Dotson's absence leaves Curtis Samuel and Terry McLaurin as Washington's clear top 2 WRs. WRs Cam Sims and Dyami Brown figure to split snaps and routes behind them.

Giants RB Saquon Barkley (shoulder) got in a limited practice on Wednesday. He missed 1 series of last weekend's win over the Packers with this shoulder issue but was able to return. Barkley should be ready for his usual role vs. the Ravens on Sunday.

Commanders WR Jahan Dotson (hamstring) remained sidelined for Tuesday's practice. He's a long shot to play vs. the Bears on Thursday night. Cam Sims finished 3rd among Washington WRs with a 62% route rate last week, but it was WR Dyami Brown who posted the big 2-TD day. Sims and Brown are only considerations in 1-game DFS contests.

Steelers rookie QB Kenny Pickett threw for 327 yards, with 0 TDs and an INT in Sunday's loss to the Bills. He completed 34 of 52 attempts while taking 3 sacks in the 38-3 defeat. Pickett threw 8+ targets apiece to George Pickens, Diontae Johnson and Chase Claypool. He draws another challenging matchup in Week 6 with Tampa Bay, which hit Week 5 ranked 3rd in Football Outsiders' pass-defense DVOA.

Giants RB Saquon Barkley overcame a brief absence Sunday to supply 106 total yards in the win over Green Bay in London. Barkley carried 13 times for 70 yards and a TD. He also caught 3 passes for 36 yards among 6 targets, 2nd most on the team. Barkley left for a portion of the 2nd half to have his right shoulder checked but re-entered. RB Gary Brightwell and TE Daniel Bellinger added TD runs as well.

Giants RB Saquon Barkley left in the 2nd half of Sunday's game against the Packers with a shoulder injury. He's questionable to return. We'll watch for further updates.

Update: Barkley returned in the 4th quarter and quickly ripped off a 41-yard catch and run.

Bucs WR Julio Jones (knee) is inactive for today’s game vs. the Falcons, as expected. WR Breshad Perriman (knee, hamstring) is also out.

ESPN's Jeff Darlington reports that Bucs WR Julio Jones (knee) will not play vs. the Falcons today. Darlington also confirms that WR Russell Gage (back) will play. Jones' absence locks Gage in as Tampa's #3 WR behind Mike Evans and Chris Godwin.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport hears that the Bucs "hope" WR Julio Jones (knee) will play vs. the Falcons today, "but he'll work out pregame to determine his status." We'll get Tampa's inactives around 11:30 am ET, but we'd try to avoid a less-than-100% Jones in fantasy lineups.

NFL Network's Mike Garafolo reports that Steelers coaches have encouraged QB Kenny Pickett "all week" to continue taking shots downfield in his starting debut at Buffalo today. Pickett didn't hesitate to throw deep in his 1st regular-season action vs. the Jets last week. That helped lead to 3 INTs. This is good news for fantasy football, though. Pickett may well turn the ball over against a tough Bills defense, but throwing deeper presents more yardage and scoring upside for Pittsburgh's WR targets. There will be risk to playing anyone in the Steelers offense in this matchup. Myriad injuries in the Buffalo secondary help the upside as well, though. We're not playing Pickett in fantasy football lineups, but his 203.5 passing-yards line is interesting for Underdog Pick Ems, with his team likely to be chasing most of the day.

Eagles K Jake Elliott (ankle) is out for Sunday’s game vs. the Cardinals. Cameron Dicker will be elevated from the practice squad to replace Elliott.

Eagles CB Avonte Maddox (ankle) is out for Sunday's game against the Cardinals. That will be good news for WR Rondale Moore, if he's back to running primarily out of the slot this Sunday. Eagles outside CB Darius Slay, meanwhile, carries no injury designation into the game after leaving Week 4 early with a forearm issue.

Bucs WR Julio Jones (knee) was limited in practice all week and is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game vs. the Falcons. We’re expecting Jones to play but be 4th among Tampa WRs in playing time. He ran a route on just 30% of pass plays last week.

Commanders WR Jahan Dotson (hamstring) is out for Sunday's game vs. the Titans. No surprise after HC Ron Rivera said earlier this week that Dotson would miss "a week or 2." He'll be replaced by some combination of WRs Dyami Brown and Cam Sims -- but WRs Terry McLaurin and Curtis Samuel should pick up extra targets.
