Shark Bites are the latest fantasy football news & NFL updates. Draft Sharks has been in business since 1999. And when we started, redraft was the dominant form of fantasy football. Check out what we've learned about this most basic form of fantasy football along the way.
Packers WR Christian Watson (hamstring) remained sidelined in practice all week and is listed as doubtful for Sunday’s game vs. the Panthers. We’ll see if he can make it back for Week 17.
The Packers list WR Jayden Reed (toe, chest) as questionable for Sunday's game vs. the Panthers. He didn't practice all week, though, and seems unlikely to play. Reed should be on fantasy benches for now. We'll get Green Bay's inactives around 11:30 am ET on Sunday.
Packers RB A.J. Dillon (thumb) was limited in practice all week and is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game vs. the Panthers. HC Matt LaFleur sounded optimistic on Friday about Dillon’s chances of returning for this one. He’d be a desperation fantasy play but would ding RB Aaron Jones’ outlook.
Raiders RB Josh Jacobs (quad) did not practice on Thursday. Interim HC Antonio Pierce said Wednesday that he expected Jacobs back for Monday's game vs. the Chiefs, but his availability can't be taken for granted at this point. We'll see if Jacobs gets back on the field tomorrow.
Packers TE Luke Musgrave (kidney) has been designated to return from IR. He won't practice on Thursday, according to ESPN's Rob Demovsky, so Musgrave seems unlikely to play vs. the Panthers this weekend. But we'll keep tabs on his return from a lacerated kidney suffered back in Week 11.
Raiders interim HC Antonio Pierce said Wednesday that RB Josh Jacobs (quad) is likely to return for Monday's game vs. the Chiefs. "I think he was close to last week," Pierce said. "That was a decision we all made for the best interest of him. If I had to be a betting man, I would think he would play this game." We'll track Jacobs' practice participation over the next few days. We currently have him projected to play against Kansas City. See where Jacobs lands in the Week 16 RB Rankings.
Packers WRs Christian Watson (hamstring) and Jayden Reed (toe, chest) did not practice on Wednesday. Both guys are looking iffy for this weekend's game vs. the Panthers. Their absences would leave Romeo Doubs and Dontayvion Wicks as Green Bay's top two WRs.
Packers RB A.J. Dillon (thumb) was limited in Wednesday's practice. We'll see if he's able to play through his broken thumb on Sunday vs. the Panthers. Dillon wouldn't be much of a fantasy option but would ding RB Aaron Jones' value.
Packers TE Tucker Kraft tallied 57 yards and a TD on 4 receptions in Sunday's loss to the Buccaneers. The game marked his second among the past three with 6 targets, his second straight with 4 receptions and more than 50 receiving yards, and the fourth straight game in which he led the team in routes. That all makes Kraft a solid option for Week 16, if Luke Musgrave isn't ready to return from his lacerated kidney. He's eligible to come off IR for Week 16, but we haven't yet seen an indication Green Bay expects Musgrave to play next week. We'll watch the situation ahead of Sunday's matchup with the Panthers.
Packers rookie WR Dontayvion Wicks started Sunday against the Buccaneers in place of Christian Watson and wound up leading the team in receiving. He tied WR Jayden Reed for the team lead at 6 receptions while tallying a team-high 97 receiving yards, 40 more than his nearest teammate. Wicks also ranked third on the team in routes, trailing TE Tucker Kraft and WR Romeo Doubs. Wicks' 7 targets trailed only Reed's 8. His playing time likely benefited from Reed leaving the game twice for a toe injury. We'll see about the statuses for Reed and Watson heading into Week 16.
Packers WR Jayden Reed is questionable to return for Sunday's game vs. the Bucs with a toe injury. He's remained on the sidelines but doesn't have his helmet. Stay tuned for an update.
Packers LB Quay Walker (shoulder) is active for today's game against the Buccaneers. There's some re-injury risk, but he's OK to use as planned in your IDP lineups. S Darnell Savage (shoulder) and CB Jaire Alexander (shoulder) are inactive. Their absences hurt Green Bay's pass defense.
Packers WR Christian Watson (hamstring) is inactive for today’s game vs. the Bucs. He didn’t practice all week and might miss more time beyond Week 15. WR Dontayvion Wicks (ankle) is active and should continue to operate as Green Bay’s No. 3 WR behind Jayden Reed and Romeo Doubs.
Packers RB A.J. Dillon (thumb) is not expected to play against the Bucs today, per NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. That'll leave Green Bay's backfield to Aaron Jones, Patrick Taylor, and Kenyan Drake, who was elevated from the practice squad on Saturday. It's uncertain how big a workload the Packers are willing to give Jones in his first game since Week 11, but Dillon's absence certainly adds upside to Jones' fantasy profile.
Packers LB Quay Walker (shoulder) is questionable for Sunday's game against the Buccaneers. He managed limited practices Thursday and Friday, so Walker's at least trending in the right direction. We'll check his status Sunday. CB Jaire Alexander (shoulder) and S Darnell Savage (shoulder) are also questionable.
Packers WR Christian Watson (hamstring) is listed as doubtful for Week 15. He didn’t practice all week and is clearly a long shot play vs. the Bucs on Sunday. WR Dontayvion Wicks (ankle) is listed as questionable after getting in limited practices on Thursday and Friday. If he’s unable to play this weekend, Green Bay would be down to WRs Malik Heath and Samori Toure behind top two WRs Jayden Reed and Romeo Doubs.
Packers RB A.J. Dillon (thumb) is listed as questionable for this weekend's game vs. the Bucs. He only got in a limited practice on Friday with his broken thumb. "We're kinda working through it right now," HC Matt LaFleur said of Dillon's ability to play on Sunday. "We'll see where we're at... Had it padded pretty good." Dillon's already limited pass-catching ability would be further curtailed if he suits up this weekend. He's not a recommended Week 15 fantasy play.
Raiders RB Josh Jacobs (quad) is inactive for tonight’s game vs. the Chargers. The team didn’t rule him out until this afternoon, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, while The Athletic’s Vic Tafur tweeted that Jacobs might have played had this game been Sunday. So it sounds like there’s a good chance that he’s back for Week 16. Jacobs’ absence tonight leaves Vegas’ backfield to Zamir White and Ameer Abdullah. White figures to handle the majority of the early-down work, with Abdullah playing on passing downs. See where both guys sit in the Week 15 RB Rankings.
Packers RB A.J. Dillon missed his second straight practice on Thursday and told the media that he has a broken thumb. OC Adam Stenavich said that the team is still figuring out whether Dillon can play vs. the Bucs this weekend. "It makes it harder to catch the ball and things like that, but if you limit the things he does, it can be done," Stenavich said. We'll keep an eye on Dillon's status, as well as Aaron Jones (knee), who remained limited in Thursday's practice. The Packers also have RB Patrick Taylor on the active roster and RB Kenyan Drake on the practice squad.
Raiders RB Josh Jacobs' status for Thursday night's game vs. the Chargers is "firmly in doubt," according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Jacobs did not practice at all this week with his quad injury. We have him projected to miss this game, leaving the backfield to Zamir White and Ameer Abdullah. We'll get Las Vegas' inactives a little before 7 pm ET tonight.
