George Pickens Held to No Yards on Saturday

George Pickens Headshot

Steelers WR George Pickens had one catch for zero yards, including three drops, in a loss to the Bengals on Saturday. He had a chance to seal a victory, but missed a perfectly thrown ball by wilson. The Steelers were trying to win the game but their offensive woes continued. The Steelers head to the playoffs on a cold streak.

Dynasty Impact

Pickens dynasty value is one of the true enigmas of valuation.

He is locked in as the top WR for the Steelers moving forward, even if they add a rookie or another talent, but he is extremely inconsistent.

The Steelers will likely stick as a rush first team moving forward as well.

In addition, the QB situation is in flux.

Russell Wilson could return, but is that positive for Pickens' value?

Another free agent or young rookie may not offer much upside either.

Pickens likely will remain a boom-or-bust WR2 next year and give plenty of heartbreak to fantasy managers.
