Cincinnati Bengals Fantasy Football News | Shark Bites

Shark Bites are the latest fantasy football news & NFL updates. Draft Sharks has been in business since 1999. And when we started, redraft was the dominant form of fantasy football. Check out what we've learned about this most basic form of fantasy football along the way.

ESPN's Jeremy Fowler hears that there's "optimism" about Bengals WR Tee Higgins' status for Saturday's game vs. the Broncos. Higgins is listed as questionable after a limited week of practice but "improved every day," according to Fowler. We'll get Cincinnati's inactives around 3 pm ET tomorrow. Barring reports of limited snaps, Higgins will be tough to keep out of fantasy lineups if he ends up active.

Bengals WR Tee Higgins (ankle, knee) is listed as questionable for Saturday's game vs. the Broncos. He was limited in practice all week. HC Zac Taylor reportedly wasn't asked about Higgins' status on Thursday, so we don't have any other info right now. We'll look for further updates and get Cincinnati's inactives around 3 pm ET on Saturday.

Bengals WRs Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins both found the end zone and combined for 19 targets against the Brown. Chase caught six of eight targets for 97 yards and a score while Higgins caught eight of 11 targets for 58 yards and a score.

Bengals QB Joe Burrow is the first player ever to throw for at least 250 yards and three touchdowns in seven consecutive games. He just cleared the mark against the Browns, completing 23-of-30 for 252 yards and three TDs.

Bengals WR Tee Higgins (rest, knee) is not listed on the final Week 16 injury report. He only got in limited practices on Wednesday and Friday, but HC Zac Taylor said that Higgins is just being managed and will be ready for his usual role against the Browns on Sunday.

After being limited on Wednesday, Bengals WR Tee Higgins did not practice on Thursday. He's listed on the injury report with "rest" and "knee." According to ESPN's Ben Baby, Higgins did work off to the side of Thursday's practice and "should be on track for Sunday vs. Browns." We'll update Higgins' status again on Friday afternoon.

Bengals WR Tee Higgins caught five balls for 88 yards and a TD in Sunday's win over the Titans. His 38-yard TD catch in the second quarter delivered a large chunk of the fantasy production.

Bengals RB Chase Brown delivered a pair of TDs on a season-high 28 touches in Sunday's win over the Titans. Brown posted a 25-97-1 rushing line, scoring from 5 yards out with 1:09 left in the game. He added a 6-yard TD receptions among 3 catches for 16 yards on 3 targets. No. 2 RB Khalil Herbert garnered just 1 carry and no targets.

The Bengals expect to miss LB Logan Wilson for the rest of the regular season after he had a "surgical cleanup" on his injured knee Thursday, according to NFL Network's Mike Garafolo. The injury dates back to before Cincinnati's Week 12 bye, first showing up on the Week 11 injury report.

Bengals K Evan McPherson is expected to miss "a few weeks" with a groin injury, according to NFL Network's Mike Garafolo. McPherson doesn't need surgery and should be back before the end of the season, but feel free to drop him from fantasy rosters. The Bengals signed K Cade York, who's made just 71% of his 34 NFL FG attempts, to replace McPherson. Despite a nice Week 14 spot in Dallas, we'd look elsewhere for your fantasy kicker.

Bengals WRs Tee Higgins and Ja’Marr Chase each scored TDs in the high-scoring affair against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Higgins caught five of 10 targets for 69 yards and the TD. Chase had a big day as well catching six of nine targets for 86 yards and his TD.

QB Joe Burrow did have a superstar stat line: 28-of-38 for 309 yards and three TDs. But he also turned the ball over three times with one INT and two fumbles lost, including one returned for a TD. The Bengals offense scored 31 points, but still fell to the Steelers.

Bengals LB Logan Wilson is inactive for today's game against the Steelers. That leaves Germaine Pratt as the lead LB and Akeem Davis-Gaither as the likely No. 2. It'll be just the second time this season that Wilson has not played every snap in a game, which makes it tough to know just how much playing time Davis Gaither will get. He's a shaky bet at this stage of the season -- albeit with some upside.

Bengals QB Joe Burrow didn't appear on his way to another big game at halftime of Sunday night's loss to the Chargers. But he rebounded from a 3-sack, 111-yard, 6-point first half to deliver just that. Burrow finished with 356 yards and 3 TDs, taking no more sacks in the second half. That gives him three straight games of 3+ TD passes and eight multi-TD efforts among 11 appearances this year.

Bengals "TE" Mike Gesicki ran the team's third-most routes in Sunday night's loss to the Chargers. His 43 routes trailed only Ja'Marr Chase (55) and Tee Higgins (50), and constituted 76.8% of Joe Burrow's dropbacks. But Gesicki drew just 2 targets and caught nary a one. TEs Tanner Hudson and Drew Sample also garnered 2 targets apiece vs. L.A.

Bengals WR Tee Higgins had a big game Sunday night in his return from a three-week quad injury. Higgins caught a team-high nine passes for 148 yards and a TD in the loss to the Chargers. He tied WR Ja'Marr Chase for the target lead (13) and trailed Chase's team lead in routes by just five. Chase caught seven balls for 75 yards and 2 TDs against the Chargers.

Bengals RB Chase Brown continued to dominate backfield work in Sunday night's loss to the Chargers. He handled all 22 of the team's RB carries and all 7 backfield targets. Brown rushed for 86 yards (3.9 per carry) while ranking third on the team in targets, receptions (5), and receiving yards (57). Khalil Herbert played just 4 snaps and ran 3 routes (to Brown's 33).

Bengals Edge Trey Hendrickson is officially questionable for Sunday night's game against the Chargers. Hendrickson followed a limited Wednesday practice by missing workouts Thursday and Friday. The Athletic's Paul Dehner Jr. reports that Hendrickson isn't traveling with the team but will travel separately and is expected to play.

Bengals WR Tee Higgins (quad) is not listed on the final Week 11 injury report. He was limited in practice all week but will play against the Chargers on Sunday night. “Felt amazing this week, and I'm ready to go,” he said Friday. Higgins has averaged 9.0 targets, 5.8 catches, 68 yards, and 0.6 TDs over his five games this season. Consider him a high-end WR2 in Week 11 fantasy lineups.

Bengals WR Tee Higgins participated in Wednesday's walkthrough, which HC Zac Taylor said "is for players who intend to play on Sunday," per ESPN's Ben Baby. Higgins didn't take any practice reps but has made "encouraging progress," Taylor added. Higgins continues to track toward a return for Sunday night's game vs. the Chargers. We'll keep you updated on his progress.
