Tennessee Titans Fantasy Football News | Shark Bites

Shark Bites are the latest fantasy football news & NFL updates. Draft Sharks has been in business since 1999. And when we started, redraft was the dominant form of fantasy football. Check out what we've learned about this most basic form of fantasy football along the way.

Titans rookie CB Caleb Farley is not expected to be ready for the start of training camp, according to Jim Wyatt of the team website. The 1st-round pick says he's "dying" to get back on the field, but it's reportedly "unclear" when his back will be ready for action following March surgery. Injury concerns likely helped push Farley down to Tennessee's pick at 22. A Titans defense that allowed the league's 4th-most passing yards and 2nd-most passing TDs last year could use him as soon as possible.

Falcons WR Calvin Ridley recently underwent "minor" foot surgery, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. "A little cleanup," Rapoport adds. Ridley won't participate in minicamp but is expected to be ready for the start of training camp. We'll keep an eye on him.

The Bengals added WR Tyler Boyd with the 55th pick of the 2016 NFL Draft. Boyd has 1 of the best production profiles in the WR class. He’s Pittsburgh’s all-time leader in career receptions (254) and receiving yards (3,361), despite spending just 3 years there. He also chipped in on the ground, totaling 520 rushing yards and a score on 63 attempts (8.3 YPC). But Boyd isn’t particularly big or athletic at 6’1, 197 pounds with a SPARQ score in the 34th percentile among WRs. He figures to top out as a #2 WR at the next level. But he has a shot to capture that gig right away in Cincinnati. Only Brandon LaFell stands between Boyd and a starting job.
