Baltimore Ravens Fantasy Football News | Shark Bites

Shark Bites are the latest fantasy football news & NFL updates. Draft Sharks has been in business since 1999. And when we started, redraft was the dominant form of fantasy football. Check out what we've learned about this most basic form of fantasy football along the way.

Ravens WR Rashod Bateman has been ruled out of Thursday night's game vs. the Bucs with a foot injury. It's presumably the same issue that cost him Weeks 5 and 6. Baltimore has a Week 10 bye, so we wouldn't be surprised if Bateman is held out of Weeks 9's game vs. the Saints.

Ravens TE Mark Andrews is questionable to return to Thursday night's game vs. the Bucs with a shoulder injury. He entered this one with a bad knee. We'll update Andrews' status when we know more.

Update: Andrews has been ruled out for the game.

Ravens CB Marlon Humphrey (hamstring) and CB Marcus Peters (quad) are active for tonight's game against the Buccaneers.

Ravens WR Rashod Bateman (foot) is active for tonight’s game vs. the Bucs. He was a full participant in Wednesday’s practice, so we’re not expecting the foot to be much of an issue. Consider Bateman a WR3 with upside against a banged-up Bucs secondary.

6:50pm EDT 10/27/22

Ravens TE Mark Andrews (knee) is active for tonight’s game vs. the Bucs. He didn’t practice at all this week, so it’s safe to assume he’s not at 100%. Andrews’ floor and ceiling is lower than usual, but he still sits atop the Week 8 TE Rankings.

Ravens WR Rashod Bateman (foot) is listed as questionable for Thursday night's game vs. the Bucs. He put in a full practice on Wednesday, so he should be able to play. But we'll get Baltimore's inactives around 7 pm ET tomorrow.

Ravens TE Mark Andrews (knee) is listed as questionable for Thursday night's game vs. the Bucs. He didn't practice at all on the short week. Andrews played 88% of Baltimore's offensive snaps with this injury last week, although he finished catch-less on 2 targets. That was at least partly due to QB Lamar Jackson throwing it just 16 times, but it's also fair to assume the knee was an issue. Andrews brings a lower ceiling and floor to Week 8 fantasy lineups -- although we'd still have trouble benching him in fantasy football.

Ravens TE Mark Andrews (knee) did not practice on Tuesday. He played through this issue in Sunday's win over the Browns, posting his usual snap and route rates. Andrews finished without a catch on 2 targets, though, and it looks like he's still not at 100%. We're still expecting him to play vs. the Bucs on Thursday night, but we'll see how Andrews is listed on the final injury report tomorrow.

Ravens WR Rashod Bateman (foot) did not practice on Tuesday. He missed Weeks 5 and 6 with a foot injury before returning to play 56% of the offensive snaps in Sunday's win over the Browns. It's unclear if Bateman suffered a setback or is just getting some time off on the short week. We'll see what he does on Wednesday and how he's listed on the final injury report for Thursday night's game vs. the Bucs.

Patriots WR Nelson Agholor (hamstring) is active for tonight's game against the Bears. WR Kendrick Bourne (toe) is inactive. We're expecting Agholor to serve as the #4 WR behind Jakobi Meyers, DeVante Parker and Tyquan Thornton.

Titans RB Derrick Henry racked up 128 yards on 30 carries (4.3 per rush) in Sunday's win over the Colts. He added 3 receptions (on 3 targets) for 10 yards, in a game where no Tita caught more than 3 passes. Tennessee also scored no offensive TDs, relying on 4 FGs and an INT-return TD for all of its scoring. RB Dontrell Hilliard chimed in for just 1 carry and 2 catchless targets. It was Henry's 4th straight game of 20+ carries and 3rd straight outing over 100 yards.

11:32am EDT 10/23/22

Ravens WR Rashod Bateman (foot) is active for today’s game vs. the Browns. He was limited in practice all week, so it’s fair to assume that Bateman still isn’t at 100%. Consider him a risk/reward WR3.

11:32am EDT 10/23/22

Ravens TE Mark Andrews (knee) is active for today’s game vs. the Browns. He only got in a limited practice on Friday, but we never sensed much concern about his status. Andrews remains a must-start in season-long fantasy leagues.

There's "optimism" that Ravens WR Rashod Bateman (foot) plays vs. the Browns today, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Bateman has missed the past 2 games but "practiced well" this week, per Rapoport. We'll get Baltimore's inactives around 11:30 am ET.

The Ravens expect TE Mark Andrews (knee) to play Sunday against the Browns, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter. Listed as questionable, Andrews belongs in all fantasy lineups this week.

Patriots WRs Nelson Agholor (hamstring) and Kendrick Bourne (toe) are listed as questionable for Monday night's game vs. the Bears. Neither should be in your Week 7 fantasy plans. Jakobi Meyers, DeVante Parker and Tyquan Thornton will operate as New England's top 3 WRs.

Ravens WR Rashod Bateman (foot) was limited in practice all week and is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game vs. the Browns. He said Friday that the decision on whether he plays is up to HC John Harbaugh. We’ll get Baltimore’s inactives around 11:30 am ET on Sunday.

Ravens TE Mark Andrews (knee) is listed as questionable for this weekend’s game vs. the Browns. He only got in a limited practice on Friday but didn’t sound worried about his status. “My body feels good. I’m ready to go,” Andrews said. Keep him penciled into fantasy lineups for now, but check back around 11:30 am ET on Sunday to make sure he’s active.

Ravens QB Lamar Jackson (hip) is not listed on the final injury report. He was limited on Wednesday but put in full practices on Thursday and Friday. The hip isn’t a concern heading into this weekend’s game vs. the Browns.

Ravens QB Lamar Jackson (hip) was upgraded to full participation in Thursday's practice. He'll be ready to rock for this weekend's game vs. the Browns.
