Shark Bites are the latest fantasy football news & NFL updates. Draft Sharks has been in business since 1999. And when we started, redraft was the dominant form of fantasy football. Check out what we've learned about this most basic form of fantasy football along the way.
Jets LB C.J. Mosley left Sunday's game against the Dolphins for a concussion evaluation early in the 4th quarter and did not return. We have yet to see confirmation that he has entered the concussion protocol but will keep an eye out. LB Quincy Williams reclaimed his starting job from Jarrad Davis in the game and looks like a solid bet for playing time in the Week 12 visit to Houston.
Packers WR Allen Lazard (shoulder) is inactive for today’s game vs. the Vikings. That leaves Marquez Valdes-Scantling and Randall Cobb as Green Bay’s clear #2 and #3 WRs.
Packers QB Aaron Rodgers' toe injury is "real and concerning," NFL Network's Ian Rapoport says. Rodgers downplayed the issue this week, but he only got in a limited practice on Friday. And, according to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero, Rodgers only took about 15 reps in that practice. The lack of practice time is less of a concern than the fact that Rodgers' mobility figures to be limited by this injury. And Rapoport hears that Rodgers will likely be dealing with it for the rest of the season. We'll see how he fares vs. the Vikings today.
Packers WR Allen Lazard (shoulder) did not practice all week and is listed as doubtful for Sunday's game vs. the Vikings. His absence should make WRs Marquez Valdes-Scantling and Randall Cobb close to full-time players. Both guys are still just fantasy fliers, though.
Packers QB Aaron Rodgers (toe) is not listed on the final injury report. He only got in a limited practice on Friday, but we never sensed any concern about his status. The toe shouldn't be a factor in Sunday's game vs. the Vikings.
Cowboys K Greg Zuerlein has been activated from the COVID list. He'll be back for Sunday's game vs. the Chiefs and is a solid fantasy play in that likely shootout.
Packers QB Aaron Rodgers (toe) missed his 2nd straight practice on Thursday. He didn't seem worried about his Week 11 status when talking to reporters on Wednesday, but this has certainly become a situation to monitor. We'll get another update tomorrow.
Packers QB Aaron Rodgers did not practice on Wednesday and is on the injury report with a toe. "I'm definitely playing Sunday," Rodgers told reporters. "Today was a mental day so I think a number of us were either limited or DNPs. Thankful to get a day to just to do some rehab. See how the week plays out practice-wise, but definitely playing Sunday." We'll keep an eye on this, but it doesn't sound like we need to worry about Rodgers' status for Sunday's game vs. the Vikings.
Jets WR Corey Davis (hip) is active for today’s game vs. the Bills. He got in a full practice on Friday, so he should be ready for his usual role. But Davis is just a low-end WR3 against Buffalo’s 2nd-ranked WR defense.
The Packers have activated QB Aaron Rodgers from the COVID list, making him officially available for Sunday's game against the Seahawks. Green Bay also added Rodgers to the injury report with a toe issue, but he carries no game status. Rodgers might have tripped over 1 of the photographers chasing anyone who looks remotely like him (with a mask on) in public over the past week.
Packers QB Aaron Rodgers is set to be cleared from the COVID list and start Sunday's game vs. the Seahawks, NFL Network's Tom Pelissero reports. Rodgers hasn't logged an official practice since October 27 -- about 2-and-a-half weeks ago. He participated in meetings virtually throughout this week and will take part in Saturday's walkthrough. The missed time is less of a concern considering this is a 17-year veteran who's been in HC Matt LaFleur's offense since 2019.
Jets WR Corey Davis (hip) is listed as questionable for this weekend’s game vs. the Bills. He practiced all week, including a full workout on Friday, and is expected to play on Sunday. Davis is just a low-end WR3 against a tough Buffalo pass defense.
Saints QB Trevor Siemian will start Sunday's game vs. the Titans, HC Sean Payton said Friday. Siemian played reasonably well in last week's loss to Atlanta, completing 25 of 41 passes for 249 yards, 2 TDs and 0 INTs. He's just a low-end QB2 in fantasy lineups, though.
Jets WR Corey Davis (hip) got in a limited practice on Wednesday. He's tentatively expected back for this weekend's game vs. the Bills but will be just a WR4 in that tough matchup.
Cowboys K Greg Zuerlein has been placed on the COVID list. If he's vaccinated, he has a chance to be cleared for Sunday's game vs. the Falcons. But, for now, fantasy owners should not plan on having Zuerlein in Week 10 lineups. We'll see who Dallas adds at K
Jets WR Corey Davis (hip) is expected back for Sunday's game vs. the Bills, HC Robert Saleh said Monday. Davis has been a boom-or-bust fantasy producer this year, finishing as a top-20 PPR WR 3 times but ranking outside the top 50 in his other 3 games. He's more likely to bust than boom vs. Buffalo.
The Texans have officially activated QB Tyrod Taylor from IR, so he's ready to start Sunday's game against the Dolphins. Taylor has been out with a hamstring injury since leaving the Week 2 loss to Cleveland.
Saints QB Trevor Siemian is expected to start Sunday's game vs. the Falcons, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. It's a surprise with QB Taysom Hill set to clear concussion protocol. It's unclear if Siemian is just the Week 9 starter or in line to start the rest of the way. He played well in relief of QB Jameis Winston in last week's win over the Bucs, completing 16 of 29 passes for 159 yards and a score. But in a run-leaning offense with no rushing upside, Siemian is an unexciting fantasy play.
Jets WR Corey Davis (hip) is inactive for tonight’s game vs. the Colts. WR Denzel Mims replaced him last week, actually leading the Jets with a 77% route rate. He came away with just 2 catches on 3 targets for 30 yards, though. Mims is only an option in 1-game DFS tournaments.
Packers WR Davante Adams has been activated from the COVID list. He'll be back for Sunday's game vs. the Chiefs -- albeit without QB Aaron Rodgers. In 8 games Rodgers missed all or most of back in 2017 (with Brett Hundley under center), Adams averaged 8.9 targets, 5.8 catches, 68 yards and .6 TDs. See where he sits in the Week 9 WR Rankings.
