Shark Bites are the latest fantasy football news & NFL updates. Draft Sharks has been in business since 1999. And when we started, redraft was the dominant form of fantasy football. Check out what we've learned about this most basic form of fantasy football along the way.
Ravens WR Odell Beckham (shoulder) did not practice on Wednesday. His injury reportedly isn't a long-term deal, but Beckham isn't a lock to play vs. the Chargers on Sunday night. We'll keep you updated on his status over the next few days.
Ravens HC John Harbaugh said Monday that WR Odell Beckham's shoulder injury is not a long-term deal. Harbaugh didn't say, though, whether Beckham will be available for Sunday night's game vs. the Chargers. Baltimore could certainly use him with TE Mark Andrews sidelined. We'll track Beckham's practice participation throughout the week. He's worth adding off the waiver wire in fantasy leagues of 12+ teams.
Ravens WR Odell Beckham hurt his left shoulder at the end of a 51-yard catch and run late in the fourth quarter of Thursday night's game vs. the Bengals. The team announced him as questionable to return. We'll look for updates on Beckham's injury. He tallied a season-high 116 yards in this one and would find more opportunity going forward if he's healthy and TE Mark Andrews misses time with his ankle injury.
Ravens WR Odell Beckham Jr. caught his first TD Sunday since January 2022. The score came from Tyler Huntley in the fourth quarter of Sunday's lopsided win over the Seahawks, after Baltimore pulled Lamar Jackson at the end of the third quarter. It came on 1 of 2 targets he drew from Huntley, after Jackson targeted Beckham five times. Even that number would mark Beckham's second-highest single-game target total this season. His usage remains a little light for a regular starting fantasy option. A Week 10 matchup with Cleveland won't help Beckham's outlook, and his best remaining matchup (Chargers) sits in Week 12, with no teams on bye.
Ravens WR Odell Beckham is questionable to return to Sunday's game vs. the Cardinals with a stomach contusion. He took a knee to the gut when he went up to make a catch in the third quarter. We'll update Beckham's status when we know more.
Update: Beckham returned in the fourth quarter.
Ravens WR Odell Beckham (ankle) is active for today’s game vs. the Steelers. He was limited in practice all week, so it’s unclear how close to 100% Beckham is today. He’s not a recommended Week 5 fantasy start.
Ravens WR Odell Beckham is expected to play vs. the Steelers today, per NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Beckham has missed the past two weeks with what Rapoport calls tendonitis in his foot. Beckham was working as one of Baltimore's top-two WRs before going down but totaled just five catches for 66 scoreless yards in two games.
Ravens WR Odell Beckham (ankle) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game vs. the Steelers after a limited week of practice. Beckham said Friday that he expects to play. But seemingly still not at 100%, he'd be a shaky fantasy starter.
Ravens WR Odell Beckham (ankle) put in a limited practice on Wednesday. It was his first practice since going down back in Week 2. Beckham seemingly has a shot to return for Sunday's game vs. the Steelers but would be a desperation fantasy play.
Ravens WRs Odell Beckham (ankle) and Rashod Bateman (hamstring) have been ruled out for Sunday's game vs. the Browns. That leaves Nelson Agholor as Baltimore's No. 2 WR and Devin Duvernay as the No. 3. Expect a run-heavy attack from the Ravens, with WR Zay Flowers and TE Mark Andrews dominating targets.
Ravens WRs Odell Beckham (ankle) and Rashod Bateman (hamstring) remained sidelined for Thursday's practice. They're both looking iffy for this weekend's game vs. the Browns. Their absences would leave Nelson Agholor as Baltimore's No. 2 WR. We'll see how Beckham and Bateman are listed on the final injury report tomorrow.
Ravens WR Odell Beckham (ankle) did not practice on Wednesday. That puts him in danger of missing a second straight game. We'll see if Beckham can get back on the field tomorrow.
Ravens WR Odell Beckham (ankle) has been ruled out for this weekend’s game against the Colts. It’s a surprise after NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport said early in the week that Beckham’s injury wasn’t expected to cost him time. His absence should mean a significant playing-time boost for WR Rashod Bateman, who’s been the clear No. 3 WR in snaps through two weeks.
Ravens WR Odell Beckham (ankle) missed his second straight practice on Thursday. NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported earlier this week that Beckham wasn't expected to miss games with this injury, but it seems like there's at least a chance he isn't able to play vs. the Colts this weekend. We'll see how Beckham is listed on the final injury report tomorrow.
