Update: Pittsburgh has ruled him out for the game.
The Chargers on Wednesday placed WR Mike Williams on the COVID list. He, of course, joins teammate WR Keenan Allen, potentially leaving QB Justin Herbert down his top 2 wideouts for Sunday's game against the Giants. We'll keep an eye on the situations for both players. Jalen Guyton and Joshua Palmer look like the next 2 WRs up. RB Austin Ekeler, TE Jared Cook and even TE Donald Parham could all be in for more targets, though, if Williams and Allen both miss the game. On defense, the Chargers also placed CB Chris Harris Jr. on the COVID list. That might be more interesting for fantasy purposes if the Giants weren't down to their 3rd QB.
Update: HC Brandon Staley says Williams and Harris are on the list merely as close contacts. That means each player can make it back for Sunday's game as long as he continues to test negative.
Bears HC Matt Nagy told reporters Wednesday that doctors have cleared QB Justin Fields to return from his rib injury and that the rookie will start Sunday night at Green Bay. We're not sure Fields' return significantly impacts the fantasy outlook for any Chicago skill-position players, especially against a Packers D that has been a tough matchup for opponent passing games. But Fields' play had been improving just before the injury, so this should be a positive turn overall.
Eagles RB Boston Scott (illness) is active for today’s game vs. the Jets. He was unable to practice all week, and it’s unclear if that’ll impact his role today. We’re still projecting Scott to see 10-12 carries as the #2 RB behind Miles Sanders, putting Scott in the RB3 or flex mix.
Bears QB Justin Fields (ribs) is inactive for today’s game vs. the Cardinals. The rookie was limited in practice this week, giving him a shot to return in Week 14. QB Andy Dalton gets another start today.
Eagles RB Boston Scott (illness) is expected to play vs. the Jets today, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports. Scott missed all 3 practices this week, so there's a chance his role his impacted today. Still, the matchup against the league's 32nd-ranked RB defense makes Scott worth considering as a RB3 or flex.
The Steelers on Saturday activated EDGE T.J. Watt from the COVID list. That gets him back into the lineup for Sunday's game against the Ravens and significantly improves the Pittsburgh defense. It's still a fine matchup for Lamar Jackson, but the Steelers looked like a potential pushover on that side of the ball without their best defensive player.

Players rarely miss games with non-COVID illnesses, so we're expecting Scott to be active. But you'll need to check back around 11:30 am ET on Sunday to make sure. RB Miles Sanders (ankle) isn't listed on the final injury report and should lead the backfield vs. the Jets' 32nd-ranked RB defense.

Additional testing on Bears QB Justin Fields' ribs revealed "tiny fractures," according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. The injury is "not deemed major," Rapoport adds, and Fields "should return shortly." The rookie won't play against the Lions on Thanksgiving. We'll see if he can make it back for Week 13 vs. the Cardinals.

Watt (knee), S Minkah Fitzpatrick (COVID), CB Joe Haden (foot) and DL Isaiahh Loudermilk (groin) back for Sunday's game against the Bengals, NFL Network's Aditi Kinkhabwala reports. That's good news for both the Pittsburgh defense and IDP owners. It's a positive scoring matchup for Watt and the Steelers DBs.
