New York Giants Fantasy Football News | Shark Bites

Shark Bites are the latest fantasy football news & NFL updates. Draft Sharks has been in business since 1999. And when we started, redraft was the dominant form of fantasy football. Check out what we've learned about this most basic form of fantasy football along the way.

Broncos TE Greg Dulcich (hamstring) is out for Sunday’s game vs. the Packers. He reinjured his hamstring in his return last week and figures to be looking at another multi-game absence. Dulcich is droppable (again) in most fantasy leagues.

Giants WR Darius Slayton displayed a strong rapport with QB Tyrod Taylor vs. the Bills, racking up a team-leading 69 receiving yards with 4 catches on 6 targets. Fellow wideout Wan’Dale Robinson also turned in a strong performance with 8 catches on as many targets for 62 receiving yards in the contest. Since returning from injury in Week 3, Robinson ranks second on the Giants in targets (20) and leads the team with 18 receptions. These opportunities hadn’t manifested many fantasy points until Sunday, but Robinson is a name to consider adding as a flex option in deeper 14 or 16-team league formats moving forward. Next week, the Giants will face off against the Commanders in an NFC East divisional bout.

Giants LB Micah McFadden (ankle) is active for tonight's game against the Bills. That will mark his return after missing Week 5, and should return Isaiah Simmons to a reserve role.

Giants TE Darren Waller (groin) is active for tonight’s game vs. the Bills. He got in limited practices on Thursday and Friday after sitting out on Wednesday, which Waller described as a maintenance day. It doesn’t seem like the groin will be an issue tonight. But Waller is no better than a mid-range TE1 play with his Giants sporting a 14.0-point implied total.

Panthers Edge Brian Burns (ankle) and DT Derrick Brown (knee, ankle) are active for today's game against the Dolphins. Brown still looks like a risky play after a limited week of practice.

Giants TE Darren Waller (groin) is expected to play against the Bills tonight, per ESPN's Adam Schefter. The general state of New York's offense is a bigger concern for Waller than the groin. See where he sits in the Week 6 TE Rankings.

Panthers Edge Brian Burns (ankle) and DT Derrick Brown (knee, ankle) are questionable for Sunday's game against the Dolphins. Burns went from a limited Wednesday to sitting out Thursday but then practice in full on Friday. That progression makes him seem likely to play. Brown went limited, no practice, limited and looks more iffy for the game. We'll check the status of both when inactives arrive Sunday morning.

Giants TE Darren Waller (groin) is listed as questionable for Sunday night’s game vs. the Bills. He got in limited practices on Thursday and Friday after sitting out on Wednesday, which Waller described as a maintenance day. He should play vs. Buffalo. But between the groin issue, New York’s offensive line problems, and QB Tyrod Taylor being at the helm, Waller is an uncomfortable Week 6 fantasy play.

Broncos TE Greg Dulcich injured his hamstring in Thursday’s loss to Kansas City. He finished the game with 1 catch for 3 yards. Dulcich had just returned from a hamstring-related IR stint, so we might be looking at an aggravation. We’ll see if he’s able to get on the practice field next week.

Giants TE Darren Waller (groin) returned to a limited practice on Thursday. He told the media that Wednesday's day off was part of his maintenance plan. It sounds like Waller will be available for Sunday night's game vs. the Bills.

The Broncos have officially activated TE Greg Dulcich (hamstring) from IR, the last hurdle to him being available to play. He's officially questionable for tonight's game against the Chiefs and shouldn't be in most fantasy lineups even if active. But Dulcich's athleticism and rookie-year performance makes him worth stashing in plenty of leagues. We wrote more about that in his week's Waiver Pickups article.

Broncos TE Greg Dulcich (hamstring) is listed as questionable for Thursday night's game vs. the Chiefs. He was a full participant in Wednesday's practice, so it looks like he has a real chance to play for the first time since Week 1. Dulcich shouldn't be in Week 6 season-long fantasy lineups but could quickly re-emerge as a fantasy factor.

Giants Darren Waller is sitting out Wednesday's practice with a groin injury. It's too early to tell what his outlook for Sunday's game against the Bills will be, but this obviously doesn't help a guy who has disappointed fantasy managers already. And it comes at the same time his QB is dealing with a neck issue (which is keeping Daniel Jones out of Wednesday's practice as well). Avoiding Giants in Week 6 as much as you reasonably can seems like a good idea.

Broncos TE Greg Dulcich (hamstring) has been designated to return from IR. He's eligible to play vs. the Chiefs on Thursday night if he's ready. We'll keep you updated on his status. Dulcich shouldn't be in your Week 6 fantasy plans but is worth grabbing in deeper fantasy leagues. He finished 17th among TEs in PPR points per game as a rookie last year.

Giants Edge Azeez Ojulari left Sunday's loss to the Dolphins with an ankle injury. He has already lost time to a hamstring injury this year and supplied little production when he has made it onto the field. Ojulari isn't worth much IDP attention right now.

Giants WR Wan’Dale Robinson snagged 5 of 6 targets for 18 yards in Week 5. Robinson remained exclusively a short-range target – necessary given the amount of pressure put on Daniel Jones. The Giants went without an offensive score in this one and now own just 5 offensive TDs all season. We’ll see if Daniel Jones – who left late with a neck injury – can get cleared ahead of Week 6.

Giants TE Darren Waller woke up with 8 grabs for 86 yards in a blowout loss to Miami. Waller set a season-high with 11 targets. Game flow always projected favorably for the veteran, and sure enough, New York quickly faced a double-digit deficit. Now, we’ll need to check on the health of QB Daniel Jones, who left in the 4th quarter with a neck injury. If he’s unable to go for Week 6 (at Buffalo), Tyrod Taylor will start.

Giants WR Wan'Dale Robinson left in the fourth quarter of Sunday's game vs. the Dolphins to be checked for a concussion.

Update: Robinson cleared concussion protocol and has returned to the game.

Giants LB Micah McFadden (ankle) is inactive for today's game against the Dolphins.

Giants LB Micah McFadden is questionable for Sunday's game against the Dolphins. He suffered an ankle injury during the practice week that limited his participation Thursday and Friday. We'll check his status Sunday morning.
