Green Bay Packers Fantasy Football News | Shark Bites

Shark Bites are the latest fantasy football news & NFL updates. Draft Sharks has been in business since 1999. And when we started, redraft was the dominant form of fantasy football. Check out what we've learned about this most basic form of fantasy football along the way.

Packers WR Christian Watson suffered a hip injury in Sunday's game at Miami. He's questionable to return. We'll keep an eye out for updates.

Raiders RB Josh Jacobs managed just 44 yards on 15 carries in Saturday night's loss to the Steelers. The yardage beat Jacobs' season low by just 1, and his 2.9 yards per carry was his worst mark of the year. Jacobs added just 1 reception for 6 yards, his fewest catches and targets (1) since Week 2. Week 17 holds an even worse matchup in a 49ers defense that sits 2nd-toughest in adjusted fantasy points allowed to RBs.

Titans QB Malik Willis went 14-of-23 passing in Saturday's loss to the Texans, tallying just 99 yards (4.3 per attempt) with 0 TDs and 2 INTs. WR Robert Woods was the only Titan with more than 2 receptions, catching all 4 of his targets for 30 yards. Willis will start at least 1 more game Thursday night against the Cowboys.

Packers HC Matt LaFleur said Tuesday that RB A.J. Dillon has cleared concussion protocol. He missed the 4th quarter of Monday night's win over the Rams to be checked for a head injury. Prior to exiting, Dillon had tallied 11 carries and 3 targets to Aaron Jones’ 11 carries and 5 targets. Look for a similar split against the Dolphins on Sunday.

Packers RB A.J. Dillon exited in the 2nd half of Monday night's game vs. the Rams for a concussion check. He didn't return, but we've yet to see whether Dillon was actually diagnosed with a concussion. We'll look for an update from the team and monitor the practice reports this week. Dillon's absence against the Dolphins on Sunday would leave RB Aaron Jones in a workhorse role.

Packers WR Romeo Doubs performed well in Sunday's win vs. the Rams, hauling in all 5 of his targets for 55 yards. Teammate Christian Watson ended the contest with 4 catches on 6 targets for 46 yards. Watson almost had a TD in the game, but ultimately fell short much to the dismay of fantasy managers whose playoff hopes hinged on his 4-game scoring streak continuing. Veteran Allen Lazard also disappointed, only recording 1 catch on 2 targets for 7 yards. Still, those who survived and advanced should feel good about these Packers WRs in Week 16. The Dolphins' defense ranks as the 8th-best matchup for opposing WRs in adjusted fantasy points allowed this season.

Raiders RB Josh Jacobs (quad, hand) is active for today’s game vs. the Patriots. He was limited in practice all week and admitted on Friday that he’s not quite sure how that injured pinkie will hold up today. It adds some risk to Jacobs’ profile, but he still sits very high in the Week 15 RB Rankings.

Raiders RB Josh Jacobs (quad, hand) is expected to play through his questionable tag today against the Patriots. We haven't doubted the workhorse this week. Keep him locked into your fantasy football lineups.

Ravens RB Kenyan Drake is a healthy scratch for today's game vs. the Browns. Baltimore will roll with RBs J.K. Dobbins, Gus Edwards and Justice Hill.

Raiders RB Josh Jacobs (quad, hand) was limited in practice all week and is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game vs. the Patriots. Jacobs said on Friday that he’ll play. “I can hold the ball, so we'll see once I get hit on it a couple of times,” he said, adding that he’ll play with added protection on that injured pinkie. There’s some added risk here, but Jacobs remains a virtual must-start considering how productive he’s been all year.

Packers WR Romeo Doubs (ankle) put in a full practice on Thursday. He should be back for Monday night's game vs. the Rams but isn't a realistic fantasy play. We're expecting Doubs to return as Green Bay's 3rd or 4th WR, behind Christian Watson, Allen Lazard and potentially Randall Cobb.

Raiders RB Josh Jacobs (quad, hand) was limited in Wednesday's practice. He played through what looked like a painful hand injury in last Thursday night's loss to the Rams. He should be available for this weekend's game vs. the Patriots, but we'll get another update on Jacobs tomorrow.

Broncos K Brandon McManus (quad) isn’t listed on the final injury report for Sunday’s game vs. the Chiefs. He put in a full practice on Friday, so the quad shouldn’t be an issue.

X-rays on Raiders RB Josh Jacobs' pinkie came back clean during Thursday night's loss to the Rams, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. That was the assumption considering Jacobs was allowed to re-enter the game. He's still scheduled for additional testing on the finger, though, so he's not quite out of the woods yet. We'll update Jacobs' status when we know more. Rookie RB Zamir White would likely take over as Vegas' lead ball carrier if Jacobs misses time, with RB Ameer Abdullah playing in passing situations.

Raiders RB Josh Jacobs hurt his right hand in the 2nd half of Thursday night's game against the Rams. He's officially questionable to return.

Update: Jacobs did return in the 3rd quarter.

Raiders RB Josh Jacobs (calf, quad) is active for tonight's game vs. the Rams. He never seemed to be in danger of missing this one and should be ready for his usual workload.

NFL Network's Tom Pelissero confirms that Raiders RB Josh Jacobs (quad, calf) is expected to play vs. the Rams tonight. He was limited in practice this week and is listed as questionable. Jacobs, of course, has been playing through this calf issue the past 2 weeks -- and racked up 453 total yards and 3 TDs. He's a must-start tonight.

Broncos K Brandon McManus (quad) did not practice on Wednesday. We'll see if he's able to play vs. the Chiefs this weekend, but we'd look elsewhere for your Week 14 fantasy kicker.

Raiders RB Josh Jacobs (quad, calf) was limited in practice all week and is listed as questionable for Thursday night's game vs. the Rams. The quad issue is new, but we've heard nothing to suggest that Jacobs is in any danger of missing this one. We'll get Vegas' inactives around 7 pm ET tomorrow.

For the 2nd straight week, Raiders RB Josh Jacobs cast aside a "questionable" tag and delivered a big game. Despite reporter warnings that the team would need to manage Jacobs' calf injury, he racked up 144 yards and a TD on 26 carries in Sunday's win over the Chargers. Jacobs is working on a streak of 3 straight 100+ yard games and hasn't logged fewer than 21 carries since Week 9. He added 2 catches for 6 yards Sunday. RBs Zamir White and Amber Abdullah combined for just 3 touches against the Chargers. Week 14 brings a matchup with a Rams defense that expects to miss Aaron Donald for the 2nd straight game. The short turnaround could challenge Jacobs' calf ... though it looks like a calf-questionable Jacobs might be the best version of him.
