Foster Moreau Fantasy Football News | Shark Bites

Shark Bites are the latest fantasy football news & NFL updates. Draft Sharks has been in business since 1999. And when we started, redraft was the dominant form of fantasy football. Check out what we've learned about this most basic form of fantasy football along the way.

Raiders WR Davante Adams racked up 10 catches for 146 yards and 2 TDs on 17 targets in Sunday's come-from-ahead loss at Jacksonville. He garnered 47.2% target share, 47.6% of QB Derek Carr's completions, 56.4% of the team's receiving yards and the only 2 TDs. TE Foster Moreau ranked 2nd with 5 targets, catching only 2 for 42 yards. WRs Hunter Renfrow (3-26 receiving) and Mack Hollins (2-17) each drew 4 targets. The Raiders host the Colts in Week 10, a defense that entered Sunday as a near-neutral scoring matchup for fantasy QBs but 4th-toughest on WRs.

Raiders TE Darren Waller (hamstring) is inactive for today’s game vs. the Jaguars. That again leaves lead TE duties to Foster Moreau, who’s posted 3-28-0 and 6-31-0 lines with Waller out the past 2 weeks.

ESPN's Adam Schefter calls Raiders TE Darren Waller (hamstring) "unlikely" to play vs. the Jaguars today. "Still is not fully healthy," Schefter adds. NFL Network's Ian Rapoport is a bit more optimistic, labeling Waller a game-time decision. "He's as close as he's been," Rapoport tweeted. "The worry is that he aggravates it, so they'll be cautious. But he's got a chance." We'll get Vegas' inactives around 11:30 am ET. But, for now, we're removing Waller from the TE Rankings and moving TE Foster Moreau up.

Raiders TE Darren Waller (hamstring) remained limited in Thursday's practice. His status for this weekend's game vs. the Jaguars remains uncertain. Check back tomorrow for another update on Waller's status.

Raiders TE Darren Waller (hamstring) remained limited in Wednesday's practice. He was limited all last week before missing the Saints game. We'll see if he can get in a full practice 1 of these next 2 days. For now, consider Waller 50/50 for Sunday's game vs. the Jaguars.

Raiders WR Davante Adams caught just 1 pass among 5 targets in a futile effort by the Vegas offense in Sunday's shutout loss to the Saints. Adams likely felt some impact from dealing with the flu during the week, and he wasn't the only Raider who fell ill. TE Foster Moreau led the team with 9 targets, in a game that saw QB Jarrett Stidham relieve Carr in garbage time. WR Mack Hollins led the squad in receptions (7) and receiving yards (64). WR Hunter Renfrow saw only 2 targets, catching 1 for 6 yards. Vegas travels to Jacksonville in Week 9.

11:34am EDT 10/30/22

Raiders TE Darren Waller (hamstring) is officially inactive for today’s game vs. the Saints. We’ll see if he can make it back for Week 9. TE Foster Moreau gets the start in place of Waller today but isn’t a recommended fantasy starter against New Orleans’ 2nd-ranked TE defense.

Raiders TE Darren Wallker (hamstring) will be inactive for today's game vs. the Saints, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports. Waller put in 3 limited practices this week and should have a good chance to make it back for Week 9. Foster Moreau gets another game as Vegas' lead TE today, but he draws New Orleans' 2nd-ranked TE defense.

Raiders TE Darren Waller (hamstring) got in a limited practice on Wednesday. That seemingly gives him a chance to return for this weekend's game vs. the Saints. We'll get another update on his progress tomorrow.

Raiders WR Davante Adams drew a target on one-third of Las Vegas' pass attempts in Sunday's win over the Texans. He posted an 8-95 receiving line on 9 looks, claiming 38.1% of QB Derek Carr's completions and 39.4% of the receiving yards. WR Hunter Renfrow, TE Foster Moreau and RB Josh Jacobs tied for 2nd on the team with 3 catches apiece. Carr went 21-of-27 passing for 241 yards, 1 TD and no INTs. WR Mack Hollins caught the lone TD, among 2 receptions for 44 yards.

Raiders TE Darren Waller (hamstring) is out for Sunday's game vs. the Texans. He didn't practice all week, so it's possible that he misses more time. TE Foster Moreau (knee) is off the final injury report after putting in a full practice on Friday. He'll be Vegas' lead pass-catching TE this weekend and is a lower-end spot-start option. Moreau averaged 4.8 targets, 3.7 catches and 41 yards in 6 games without Waller last year -- although that came in a different offense.

Raiders TE Darren Waller (hamstring) remained sidelined for Thursday's practice. He's looking like a long shot to play vs. the Texans this weekend. TE Foster Moreau (knee) was limited again on Thursday.

Raiders TE Darren Waller (hamstring) did not practice on Wednesday. He hurt that hammy early in Week 5 and still isn't ready to go coming off the bye week. He's clearly iffy for Sunday's game vs. the Texans. TE Foster Moreau (knee) got in a limited practice on Wednesday. He could be a viable Week 7 fantasy play if he's healthy by Sunday and Waller is out.

Raiders TE Darren Waller disappointed in Week 4 with only 3 catches for 24 yards. Derek Carr attempted a mid-pack 34 passes, but Waller saw a weak 14.7% target share. He also dropped his 2nd pass of the season. Most frustratingly, Waller’s dud came with both Hunter Renfrow and Foster Moreau sidelined. The veteran has now tallied fewer than 6 PPR points in back to back games and might find both teammates returning for a Week 5 date at Kansas City. That one could at least turn up boosted pass volume.

Raiders WR Hunter Renfrow (concussion) is out for Sunday’s game vs. the Broncos. He’s yet to return to practice, so consider him iffy for Week 5. Vegas will also be without TE Foster Moreau (knee) this weekend, boosting the target projections for WR Davante Adams, TE Darren Waller and WR Mack Hollins.

A week after Raiders TE Foster Moreau spent more snaps on the field than TE Darren Waller, he again checked in at 50% snap share for Sunday's loss to the Titans. The pair also finished with a matching 5 targets and 3 catches. But the Tennessee game actually marked Waller's best route-participation rate of the young season. He went from running a route on 81.8% of Derek Carr dropbacks in Week 1 to just 61% in Week 2, but then 87.5% against the Titans. Las Vegas missed WR Hunter Renfrow (concussion) for that game. We'll see which TE is affected more by Renfrow's return.

The Raiders expect TE Darren Waller (knee) to play in tonight's game against the Chargers, ESPN reports. He's officially questionable but should be available for fantasy football lineups.

Raiders TE Darren Waller has been placed on the COVID list. He reportedly had a shot to return this week from his knee and back injuries, but he's now unlikely to play vs. the Colts on Sunday. Waller's absence would make TE Foster Moreau a strong spot starter against the league's 31st-ranked TE defense.

Raiders interim HC Rich Bisaccia said Monday that he's "optimistic" TE Darren Waller will return to practice Wednesday, according to Bill Williamson of SB Nation. Bisaccia added that even a Thursday return to practice would still give Waller a chance at playing Sunday against the Colts. We'll watch the star TE's progress this week en route to a high-upside matchup with Indy. Waller's return would knock Foster Moreau out of serious fantasy-lineup consideration. If Waller can't go, then Moreau would carry intrigue.

Raiders TE Darren Waller (knee, back) is inactive for today’s game vs. the Broncos. Foster Moreau gets another start but is just a TE2 against the league’s 2nd-ranked TE defense.
