Antonio Brown Fantasy Football News | Shark Bites

Shark Bites are the latest fantasy football news & NFL updates. Draft Sharks has been in business since 1999. And when we started, redraft was the dominant form of fantasy football. Check out what we've learned about this most basic form of fantasy football along the way.

Bucs WR Antonio Brown remains on the COVID list as of Friday night and is expected to miss Sunday's game vs. the Rams, according to insider Greg Auman. When Brown missed last year's NFC Championship, WRs Scotty Miller and Tyler Johnson basically split #3 WR duties. Neither guy can be trusted in fantasy lineups. Chris Godwin, Mike Evans and Rob Gronkowski could all pick up extra targets with Brown out.

Bucs WR Antonio Brown did, indeed, test positive for COVID, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports. Brown is vaccinated, so he's eligible to return after 2 negative tests 24 hours apart. That gives Brown a chance to be cleared in time for Sunday's game against the Rams. But Schefter tweets that, "it will be tough for Brown to play." We've lowered Brown in the Week 3 Rankings for now, as owners should be lining up other options for this week. We'll continue to monitor the situation.

Bucs WR Antonio Brown has been placed on the COVID list, according to insider Rick Stroud. It's unclear if he tested positive for the virus or is just a close contact. Either way, Brown's Week 3 status is now up in the air. Stay tuned for updates.

Update: ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that Brown tested positive. Schefter adds: "A player that tests positive that is vaccinated can return after two negative tests 24 hours apart, but it will be tough for Brown to play Sunday vs. Rams."

The forecast for today's Steelers-Browns game calls for a 30% chance of snow with winds of 27-29 mph and gusts up to 40. That wind is a significant concern. We'd avoid both kickers and downgrade the passing games, especially the guys who rely on downfield stuff. Bang it here for updated projections for the Steelers and Browns.

The forecast for today's Steelers-Browns game calls for 20-30% chance of snow with 18 mph winds.  That might be enough to break ties against guys in this game, but we're not moving any Steelers or Browns in the Week 17 rankings.  QB Ben Roethlisberger, WR Antonio Brown and WR Martavis Bryant remain strong fantasy plays.  TE Gary Barndige is the only reliable option in Cleveland's passing game.
