Cardinals K Matt Prater missed Friday’s practice with an illness and is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game vs. the Rams. He’s also still on the injury report with the hip injury that cost him 3 games earlier this season. We’d look elsewhere for a Week 10 fantasy kicker.

Cardinals QB Kyler Murray (hamstring) is listed as questionable for this weekend’s game vs. the Rams. He got in limited practices on Thursday and Friday and will be a game-time decision, per HC Kliff Kingsbury. Murray’s mobility could be compromised if he does suit up, adding downside to his Week 10 fantasy profile. If Murray sits, Colt McCoy will be under center.

Cardinals S Budda Baker (ankle) is questionable for Sunday's game against the Rams -- and sounds highly questionable at that. HC Kliff Kingsbury said Friday that he had been told early in the week that there was a "zero percent" chance Baker would play. The safety managed a limited practice Friday after missing the previous 2 days. Kingsbury said the team would be "really smart" in deciding whether to play him. We'll see about his status Sunday, but it doesn't seem as though you should plan to have Baker available for IDP lineups.

Cardinals HC Kliff Kingsbury said Friday that QB Kyler Murray (hamstring) will be a game-time decision for Sunday's game against the Rams. We've heard that about a number of Arizona's questionable players this season. We'll certainly be watching for signals on Murray's status throughout the weekend. If he can't go, it'll be Colt McCoy.

Cardinals QB Kyler Murray (hamstring) got in a limited practice on Thursday. That seemingly puts him on track to play vs. the Rams this weekend, but it remains to be seen if Murray will have his usual mobility. Check back tomorrow for another update on his status.

The Cardinals projected QB Kyler Murray as a non-participant in Wednesday's walkthrough practice because of a hamstring issue, according to multiple reports. We'll see about Murray's level of involvement as the team gets back to regular practices over the next couple of days, leading up to Sunday's visit to the Rams.

Cardinals S Budda Baker suffered a high-ankle sprain in Sunday's loss to the Seahawks and will miss at least 1 game. NFL Network's Ian Rapoport says the team hopes to get him back in 2-3 weeks. Arizona has just 3 more games before its Week 13 bye. We'll see about Baker's status heading into the Week 11 home date with the 49ers. For this week, Chris Banjo is the next man up at safety. LB-DB hybrid Isaiah Simmons might factor into the replacement plan as well.

Jets RBs Michael Carter and James Robinson split playing time and opportunities near-evenly Sunday in the 2nd games since the trade. Carter played 6 more snaps and beat Robinson in rushing yards (76-48) and receiving yards (10-5). But Robinson logged 1 more carry (13-12) and 1 more target (2-1). We should probably bet on the team keeping things fairly even going forward, though we'll see about the Jets' approach after the Week 10 bye.

Cardinals QB Kyler Murray completed a nice 71.4% of his passes in Sunday's loss to the Seahawks, including TDs to WR DeAndre Hopkins and TE Zach Ertz. But he wound up with just 175 yards passing (5.0 per attempt), took 5 sacks and fumbled twice (losing 1). Murray did add a team-high 60 rushing yards, his 2nd-largest total of the season. That trails only the 100 yards Murray ran for in the 1st meeting with Seattle. Next comes a rematch with the Rams, who allowed Murray 314 yards the 1st time around. He did so on 58 attempts (5.4 per attempt), though, threw no TDs and ran for only 8 yards.

Cardinals RB James Conner returned Sunday after losing 3 games to a rib injury. He led Arizona RBs in carries (7), rushing yards (45) and receiving (5-19 on 5 targets). Eno Benjamin logged 4 carries for 12 yards and caught his lone target for 15 more. They both watched QB Kyler Murray lead the team in rushing attempts (8) and ground yards (60). Next comes a Rams matchup that has ranked among the league's worst for RB scoring.

Cardinals RB James Conner (ribs) is active for today’s game vs. the Seahawks. It’ll be his first action since Week 5. In 3 healthy games this season, Conner has averaged 12.7 carries and 4.7 targets. We’ll see if RB Eno Benjamin eats into that work at all going forward.

Cardinals S Budda Baker (ankle) is active for today's game against the Seahawks.

Cardinals RB James Conner (ribs) is expected to play vs. the Seahawks later today, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. "Arizona does want to test him in pre-game warmups," Schefter adds. We won't get the Cardinals' inactives until a little after 2:30 pm ET, so you should have a late-game backup plan in place if you're hoping to use Conner. Assuming he plays, we're projecting him to step back in as Arizona's lead back. But RB Eno Benjamin could play a bigger role behind Conner than he did early in the season.

Cardinals RB James Conner (ribs) was limited in practice all week and is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game vs. the Seahawks. HC Kliff Kingsbury called him a game-time decision on Friday. This is a 4:05 pm ET kickoff, but we’ll look for an update on Conner on Sunday morning. RB Darrel Williams (hip) was placed on IR earlier this week, so Eno Benjamin will control backfield work if Conner sits again.

Cardinals HC Kliff Kingsbury said Friday that S Buddy Baker (ankle) will be a game-time decision for Sunday's game against the Seahawks. He missed the 1st 2 days of practice before returning for a limited Friday workout. The 4:05 p.m. ET kick will make it difficult to wait for Baker in IDP lineups, so make sure you have an insurance option if that's your plan.

Cardinals RB James Conner (ribs) was limited again in Thursday's practice. He seemingly has a shot to return for this weekend's game vs. the Seahawks, but check back tomorrow for another update.

Cardinals RB James Conner (ribs) put in a limited practice on Wednesday. He was limited last Wednesday and Thursday before missing Friday's practice and the Vikings game. RB Darrel Williams (hip) was placed on IR on Wednesday, leaving Eno Benjamin and Keaontay Ingram as Arizona's healthy RBs.

Cardinals QB Kyler Murray posted his best fantasy day of 2022 in Week 8, completing 31-of-44 attempts for 326 yards and 3 TDs. Murray also tossed 2 picks in a game for the first time since last year’s Wild Card matchup with L.A. His scores went to DeAndre Hopkins, Rondale Moore and Zach Ertz, as the QB again leaned on Hopkins (29.5% target share). While this offense still struggles with drive to drive consistency, Murray — who added 36 yards on the ground — showed on Sunday that he remains a weekly QB1. Next up is an improved Seattle defense.

Jets RB Michael Carter got the bulk of the backfield snaps in Sunday's loss to the Patriots, the 1st game since Breece Hall's ACL tear. He played 1 more snap than the combined total for Ty Johnson and James Robinson. The carry counts made it look closer. Carter's 7 rushes (for 26 yards) led the group, with Robinson taking 5 (for 17) and Johnson 2 (for 6). Carter dominated receiving opportunities, tying for 2nd on the team with 7 targets. he caught 4 for 35 yards. Johnson (2) and Robinson (1) combined for no receptions on 3 targets. We're betting on Carter as the touch leader going forward, even if Robinson works into more playing time. We'd also bet on the backfield continuing to be unexciting. Week 9 brings a terrible matchup for everything on offense, with Buffalo coming to town.

11:37am EDT 10/30/22

Cardinals K Matt Prater (hip) is active for today’s game vs. the Vikings. He’s been out since Week 4 but steps back in as Arizona’s kicker for this one.
